#4 Beat the Heat!
Sizzling temperatures means reducing driver loads.
The National Electrical Code requires derating of wire ampacity based on the ambient temperature. Driver manufacturers recommend the same advice. No matter which driver you use, refer to your drivers specifications for output derating curves like the one shown below:
Arizona has the hottest temperatures in the country reaching maximum temperatures of 122 degrees. A sign's daytime temperature can easily be much hotter! The chart on the right shows that the South and South-East facing walls get the most sun so remember to derate accordingly.
